Privacy Policy
Last updated 21.08.2026. This policy describes what data is processed when you use Art of Data, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Controller
Kryukova LLM (Kryukova Ekaterina), sole proprietorship, Switzerland. UID: CHE-467.945.025. Contact email: support@artofdata.ch. Full registration details are available in the Imprint.
2. What data we process
For the MVP, Art of Data does not ask for an email address to run a free check, does not create an account, and does not store an email in the service's own database. The service may process: the product data and dictionaries you upload, technical browser and connection data, the IP address in the infrastructure's technical logs, information about actions taken in the service, and — only if you contact us directly, request a paid package or place an order — your email and the content of that message.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is used to provide the service without registration, to limit free checks and protect against automated abuse of AI resources, to process product feeds, to match categories and attributes, to respond to enquiries and provide support, to calculate pricing, and to perform and enforce contracts.
4. Recipients and cross-border transfer
To run the site, host data and perform AI processing, we may use technology providers for infrastructure, hosting, CDN and AI models, including Cloudflare, Railway and OpenAI. Product data, images, attributes and dictionary fragments necessary to produce a result are sent to these providers. This may involve transferring data outside Switzerland, including to the United States. Where a recipient is not covered by an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Swiss-adapted EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent contractual guarantees. Please do not upload personal data of third parties (customers, employees or other individuals) into product cards or dictionaries.
5. Legal basis
Processing relies on what is necessary to provide the service, our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse, the performance of or preparation for a contract, and, where required, your separate consent. The Swiss FADP does not require a formal legal basis for every processing activity the way the EU GDPR does, but we follow the same principles of lawfulness, good faith, proportionality and purpose limitation.
6. Storage and deletion
Data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Technical infrastructure logs are typically retained for a limited number of days by our hosting and CDN providers. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Contractual and accounting records are kept for the periods required by applicable law. The free-check counter is stored in your own browser (localStorage); the aggregate server-side daily limit does not contain an email, name or persistent identifier tied to you. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to support@artofdata.ch.
7. Your rights
Under the Swiss FADP you have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and to object to or request deletion of processing, subject to any overriding legal or contractual obligations. To exercise these rights, contact support@artofdata.ch. If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
8. Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to support@artofdata.ch. After withdrawal, access to the service or a paid offering may be limited if the service cannot be provided without that processing.
